What’s Happening on that Lot

The Amazon last-mile delivery station at Litchfield Road and Soledad Street is making progress on construction.

Boyer Bakery, at 13681 N. Litchfield Road, is currently in development review, and will be opening at the former “Pinkabella” location.

There will be 63,000 square feet of flex space at Skyway Commons opening soon, located on the southwest corner of Dysart Road and Rioglass Solar Road!

The city’s DevelopNEXT effort to simplify and modernize its development and design standards is nearing the finish line! The final draft will be presented for consideration and action at the December 15, 2020 City Council Meeting. The final draft was developed after several rounds of draft documents were posted online and presented at stakeholder meetings to address questions and gather feedback. The document has also been available online for public comment. The Land Development Ordinances (LDO) will replace the current Surprise Unified Development Code (SUDC). In addition, the City is also updating and consolidating the separate design and engineering books into a single Planning and Engineering Design Standards (PEDS). For more information, please visit surpriseaz.gov/developnext.
